How to Promote Image Based Blogs

If your blogs are devoted to show images or information conveyed to people by pictures, you must keep in mind that the text you write in image, cannot be read by google. However, the name of picture file can make google to guess what the image is. To understand, consider an example, if you upload a picture named '123' and the picture is of the cat, then it will not prove informative for search engines. If you rename that picture as Playing Cat, that will make sense for search engines to understand the picture.
